Thai Food = Tom Yam. Kerabus. Tahb Tim Krabs.
I had so much food I was so full after dinner that I looked almost 3 months pregnant. THREE! Yes, it was that filling. :3
Mango Salad : onions, cabbages (purple ones too), carrots, anchovies and salted groundnuts - all garnished with a dash of mango. I really don't know how they manage to make everything taste like sour mango yet have no mango at all on the salad itself.
I'd say, the mango salad was a bit boring. The texture was alright, though, with the nuts and all. Oh, and there were fried onion pieces as well. So it was crunchy, salty, sour. I wouldn't recommend it.
And! There is one thing that's absolutely new to me. Fried Kangkungs in tempura flour. Just GORGEOUS. It's really different, and as you can see, the vege shrinks and folds when it's fried..lol.
The pandan chicken was OK, but the size made Siriwan look stingy. Other than that, it was just fine. Nothing much to say about it, just normal and nothing exquisite.
This is something quite unique. Seafood Otak-otak. I apologize : this picture made it look very unappetizing, but do trust me - this is one good otak. It has prawns and fish with otak-otak but the texture is nothing like the usual wrapped up ones. This one's mushy and soft and mixed up with everything so you just slop it on your plate like high school cafeteria food. :P
I would recommend this dish as tastes nice, you can actually finish one by yourself if you'd like :) oh, and notice it's served in a coconut?
The reasons I was excited to have Thai for dinner :
1. Green Curry!
This is served with chicken pieces in it. Spicy, but it keeps me wanting more. So creamy, hot, mm..heaven!
2. Thai Seafood Tom Yam
Prawns, fish, squid - soaked in pungent tom yam soup with basil leaves, onion and chillies. Not too spicy. But damn, it was very very good. Even the seafood were fresh. :)Yummm...
3. Tahb Tim Krab
This usual delicacy served with red-dyed water chestnuts and jack fruit@nangka wasn't very satisfying. First it was too milky. Secondly, it wasn't sweet enough to please my taste buds. I wouldn't recommend it here.

*I'm sorry the picture quality isn't very good here.
*I'm sorry I didn't state any prices(if you've noticed), but I can tell you something, if you're planning to head down to Siriwan, do bring some cash because it's quite costly. But I'm sure it'll be worth it because you'd definitely enjoy your dinner there with the company of your friends and family. :)
